Lane restrictions on Taunton Road East in the Town of Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions in the westbound lanes of Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) in the Town of Whitby.

When: October 13 to December 18. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Taunton Road East, from Brock Street to McKinney Drive, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: To safely install water services to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to exercise additional caution for everyone’s safety.
