Lane restrictions on Taunton Road East in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) in the Town of Whitby.

When: March 7 to 8. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Westbound on Taunton Road East, west of Baldwin Street South, in Whitby.

Why: Watermain repair work.

Note: Municipal water supply customers in the immediate area may experience a temporary water service interruption or decrease in water pressure during the repair. When the water service returns to normal, it is important for customers to turn on a cold water tap only and let it run for approximately five to 10 minutes to clean out any sediment that may have accumulated in your water service. This will avoid any sediment entering the hot water system.
