Lane restrictions on Taunton Road East near Garrard Road in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4) in the Town of Whitby.

When: May 11 to 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Eastbound lane restrictions on Taunton Road East from 170 metres west of Garrard Road to Garrard Road, in Whitby.

Why: Watermain works to support a new development. 

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
