Lane restrictions on Taunton Road in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road East (Regional Road 4), in Whitby.

When: October 7 to November 15, 2019. Exact end date may be subject to change. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Taunton Road East, from Cochrane Street (Regional Road 43) to 150 metres west of Cochrane Street, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: To construct a storm sewer to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
