Lane restrictions on Thickson Road in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Thickson Road (Regional Road 26) in Whitby, from Dundas Street East to Crawforth Street, to construct a new turning lane and concrete median.

When: May 20 to June 7. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: One northbound and southbound lane on Thickson Road, from Dundas Street East to Crawforth Street, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: To construct a new turning lane and concrete median in support of new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
