Lane Restrictions on Thickson Road in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Thickson Road (Regional Road 26) in the Town of Whitby.

When: May 25 to June 19. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.  

Where: Thickson Road (Regional Road 26), from Dundas Street (Regional Highway 2) to William Stephenson Drive, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: Road rehabilitation.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19, the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
