Lane restrictions on Thornton Road North in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restriction on Thornton Road North in the City of Oshawa.

When: September 12 to September 26 . Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Thornton Road North from Tatra Drive to Genoa Avenue, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: Lane restrictions will be in place to allow for the safe installation of sanitary and water services to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
