Lane restrictions on Thornton Road South in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Thornton Road South (Regional Road 52) in the City of Oshawa.

When: Ongoing June 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.   

Where: Thornton Road South from Monaghan Avenue to 100 metres south of Monaghan Avenue in Oshawa.

Why: To safely install a sanitary sewer to support new development.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
