Lane restrictions on Victoria Street in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Victoria Street (Regional Road 22), from Halls Road to Seaboard Gate/Jeffery Street, in Whitby.

When: Work is underway, and is expected to be complete by August 2018. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Victoria Street (Regional Road 22), from Halls Road to Seaboard Gate/Jeffery Street, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: Road reconstruction, road widening and bridge construction.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
