Lane restrictions on York-Durham Line and Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on York-Durham Line (Regional Road 30) and Regional Road 8 in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: June 17 to 19 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: York-Durham Line, just south of Regional Road 8 to just north of Vivian Road, and Regional Road 8, from York-Durham Line to 200 meters east, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Why: To safely place asphalt.

Note: The roadway will be reduced to one-lane with flagging in place. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19, the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
