Lane restrictions, night work and a road closure on Consumers Drive in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions and night work on Consumers Drive (Regional Road 25) in the Town of Whitby.

When:

• October 7 to 28.
• Night lane restrictions: October 24, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Night road closure: October 27, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Unfavourable weather conditions may influence work schedule. 

Where: Consumers Drive, from 80 metres east of Sunray Court to 150 metres west of Thickson Road (Regional Road 26).

Why: Curb and gutter replacement, structure adjustments, partial depth asphalt milling, base asphalt repairs, surface asphalt paving and new pavement markings.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for pedestrian, cyclist, and construction worker safety.
