Lane shifting and restrictions on Salem Road and Rossland Road East in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) and Rossland Road East in the Town of Ajax.           

When: March 22 to September. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Salem Road from Rossland Road East to Blowers Crescent, and Rossland Road East from Salem Road to 300 metres east of Salem Road, in Ajax. 

Why: To safely construct turn lanes and intersection improvements to support new development.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
