Night work at Kingston Road/Whites Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of night work and lane restrictions as part of the reconstruction of the intersection of Kingston Road (Durham Highway 2) and Whites Road (Regional Road 38) in Pickering. 

When: September 4 to 8, nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule. 

Where: Kingston Road, from west of Steeple Hill to east of Delta Boulevard; and Whites Road, from south of Kingston Road to south of Dunfair Street, in the City of Pickering. 

Why: Work is occurring at night to permit paving in a safe and efficient manner while minimizing the disruption of traffic.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
