Nightly lane closures on Brock Road and Pickering Parkway in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane closures on Brock Road (Regional Road 1), from from 40 metres north of the westbound Highway 401 off-ramp to 80 metres south of Kingston Road (Regional Highway 2), and on Pickering Parkway east and west of Brock Road, in the City of Pickering.

When: Rotating lane closures on June 5 and 6. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where:

• Brock Road, from 40 metres north of the westbound Highway 401 off-ramp to 80 metres south of Kingston Road in Pickering.
• Pickering Parkway east and west of Brock Road in Pickering.

Why: Structure adjustments, concrete curb infills, median fill replacement, pavement milling and surface asphalt paving. 

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
