Ongoing lane restrictions on King Street and Bowmanville Avenue in Clarington
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is updating residents regarding lane restrictions on King Street and Bowmanville Avenue in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Bowmanville.
When and Where:
- Ongoing lane restrictions on King Street from Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) to just east of Bowmanville Avenue in Bowmanville until the end of April.
- Lane restrictions on Bowmanville Avenue from south of King Street to north of Stevens Road, and on King Street from west of Bowmanville Avenue to east of Bowmanville Avenue from May 2023 until summer 2024. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, plus left and right turn lanes at intersections as part of the construction.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
