Online meeting for community housing redevelopment projects in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham, in partnership with Durham Regional Local Housing Corporation (DRLHC) and Infrastructure Ontario, is revitalizing two DRLHC properties located at Malaga Road and Christine Crescent in the City of Oshawa. As part of the Region’s continued commitment to engaging with the local community on these projects, an online community meeting is being held to obtain feedback on the design concepts.  

When: Wednesday, February 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Why: This is a chance for residents to share their thoughts on the design concepts for Malaga Road and Christine Crescent while learning more about these projects. 

Note: In 2022, Durham Regional Council passed a resolution identifying Durham Regional Local Housing Corporation (DRLHC) properties to be considered for revitalization. By modernizing these sites, the Region is increasing housing options while providing additional affordable housing.
