Overnight Flow Testing – Drinking Water Distribution System
The Regional Municipality of Durham will be conducting overnight flow testing to trial its new leak detection equipment in the City of Oshawa neighbourhood bordered by: Colborne Street East to the north; Wilson Road North to the east; Bond Street East to the south; and Central Park Boulevard North to the west. (As shown in map below.)
Overnight testing will occur between midnight and 5:30 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 21. Although amber flashing lights may be seen on Durham Region vehicles, water flow from hydrants is expected to be minimal and there is no anticipated disruption to water service.
