Planned Power Outage in the City of Pickering, March 14 and 21

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham wants to inform residents in the City of Pickering that as a result of the work Elexicon will be performing on electrical system upgrades power supply will temporarily shut-off for approximately two hours on both days.  This outage may affect the water pressure in the affected area. Pressure will still be adequate but there will be a noticeable difference from what residents may be accustomed to. For more information about the planned outage see bit.ly/3lam621

When: Sunday, March 14 and Sunday, March 21 between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Where: Concession 3 (North) to Finch Avenue (South) to Valley Farm Road (West) to Brock Road (East) in Pickering. Approximately 1,600 customers will be affected by the planned outage.

Why: For Elexicon crews to perform electrical system upgrades.
