Residents should limit non-essential water use during this time.
When: Friday, September 4 to Friday, October 2. Once the work is completed, residents may return to normal water conservation efforts. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.
Why: To conduct maintenance on the Port Perry water tower.
Note: Examples of non-essential water use include cleaning driveways or decks, washing cars and lawn watering.
The Port Perry water filling station will be closed during maintenance activities. Water haulers are advised to contact the Scugog Depot at 905-985-7170 to co-ordinate hydrant permits or alternate filling station while the work is being completed.
