Portion of Brock Road in Claremont to be closed August 15 emergency rail crossing repair

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that Brock Road (Regional Road 1) will be closed, at the rail crossing between Central Street (Regional Road 5) and Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road on Thursday.

When: Thursday, August 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Brock Road will be closed, at the rail crossing between Central Street and Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road, in the City of Pickering.

Why: Canadian Pacific Railway is performing emergency track repair work.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
