Portion of Lakeview Park Avenue in Oshawa to be closed next week

Whitby, Ontario – As part of ongoing construction work, a portion of Lakeview Park Avenue in Oshawa will be closed next week.

When and where: Lakeview Park Avenue, from Birchcliffe Avenue to Kluane Avenue in the City of Oshawa, will be closed from May 6 to 10. Traffic will be detoured onto Kluane Avenue and Birchcliffe Road.

Construction and related lane restrictions will be ongoing until the end of the month. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Why: To complete road restoration as part of the new watermain and water services construction.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
