Public Information Centre being held for the expansion of the Water Street Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station in Scugog
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) of a potential expansion of the Water Street Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station (SSPS) in the Township of Scugog.
When: Tuesday, June 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Scugog Memorial Public Library, 231 Water Street, Port Perry.
Why: The Class EA and plans for additional capacity at the Water Street SSPS are required to provide current and long-term service capacity to the service area and to support population growth forecasts to 2031 and beyond.
