Public Information Centre being held for water system capacity expansion in the Township of Brock

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is holding a Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to plan for additional water supply, treatment, water storage capacity and pumping facilities in Sunderland.

When: Tuesday, June 18, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Sunderland Brock Memorial Arena, 20 Park Street, Sunderland.

Why: The Class EA to plan for additional water system capacity in Sunderland is required to provide current and long-term service capacity to the area.

Note: Public input is a key part of the Class EA process. Staff will be available to answer questions on this project. For more information about this project, visit durham.ca/WorksProjects.
