Public Information Centre on additional sanitary sewage capacity in the Township of Brock
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is holding a virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) to provide an update on the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) and get resident input on additional sanitary sewage capacity for the communities of Cannington and Sunderland in the Township of Brock.
When: February 13 to March 31.
Where: The virtual PIC will be available online at durham.ca/BrockSewageCapacity.
Why: Public consultation is an important part of this project. Comments received will be considered when selecting the preferred solution. Additional sanitary sewage capacity is required to support anticipated population growth within the communities.
Note: The PIC consists of two pre-recorded presentations for each community—Cannington and Sunderland. The presentations include:
- Information about the project.
- Results of the activities completed to date.
- Next steps for the project.
