Reconstruction of Townline Road at Pebblestone Road in Clarington/Oshawa
Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Works Department will be improving the intersection of Townline and Pebblestone roads, at the Oshawa/Clarington border.
When: Work is scheduled to begin June 3, and should be complete by mid-August. There will be lane restrictions for the duration of the project. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Townline Road, at the intersection of Pebblestone Road, at the Oshawa/Clarington border.
Why: Work includes roadway reconstruction and widening with additional turn lanes, curb and gutter, street lighting and landscaping.
Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
