Region of Durham will connect home child care community at virtual event

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is hosting the Connecting Home Child Care virtual event to help engage the home child care community and gather valuable information.

This virtual event is open to all members of the home child care community, including home-based organizations and providers, home visitors, special needs resourcing agencies and services, EarlyON and local colleges.

Please note: registration is required to attend.

When: Wednesday, July 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Due to COVID-19 physical distancing measures, this event will be held virtually.

Why: Information gathered at this virtual event will later be used to develop a work plan for the new Home Child Care Sub-Committee of Children’s Services’ Best Start Network. The ultimate goal is to build a stronger home child care education, training and support system.

The Connecting Home Child Care virtual event is free to access. However, registration is required. Please register on Eventbrite.
