Regional service disruption scheduled for April 6 and 10
Whitby, Ontario – On the evenings of Thursday, April 6 and Monday, April 10, the Region’s telephone systems and servers will experience service disruptions as scheduled maintenance is performed at Regional Headquarters.
When: Thursday, April 6 at 5 p.m. (for approximately eight hours) and Monday, April 10 at 4 p.m. (for approximately seven hours).
Where: The service disruption will affect several Regional websites, in addition to all ten digit Regional Headquarters phone numbers. A full list of impacted service lines and websites is available on durham.ca/serviceimpacts. Please note that this service disruption is not expected to affect the Durham Regional Police Service website.
Why: To perform scheduled maintenance at Regional Headquarters.
All incoming calls to Regional Headquarters will be forwarded to an automated message for the duration of the service disruptions, noting that Regional offices are closed, and the phone system is temporarily out of service.
During this time, for after-hours emergency assistance regarding water supply, sewers or Regional roads, call 905-576-9991 or 1-800-372-1104.
Residents with a personal health issue should contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0007. A registered nurse will be able to assist.
The Regional Municipality of Durham apologizes for any inconvenience this service disruption may cause.
