Ritson School Project virtual community engagement session

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham welcomes residents to learn about the Ritson School Project, ask questions, and explore ideas for the pedestrian-oriented open spaces at an upcoming virtual meeting.

What: The Ritson School Project virtual community engagement session.

When: July 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Where: This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom at bit.ly/3S2gk46.

Why: The Region of Durham purchased the former elementary school, located at 300 Ritson Road South, Oshawa, from the Durham District School Board and took possession on January 26, 2022. This property is an opportunity to help meet the current and future needs of residents through affordable and market-rent housing, and community programming.
