Road closure of Brock Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in the City of Pickering.

When: Saturday, September 19 for one day only. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.  

Where: Brock Road will be closed between Uxbridge Pickering Townline Road and Central Street/Concession 9 (Regional Road 5) at the CP Railway crossing, in Pickering.

Why: Road rehabilitation and paving.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Detour routes for motorists will be posted.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
