Road closure on Rossland Road West in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Rossland Road, west of Harwood Avenue North in the Town of Ajax. Traffic will be diverted via a signed detour route.

When: August 31 to September 2. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Rossland Road west of Harwood Avenue North in the Town of Ajax.

Why: To safely construct a new watermain on Harwood Avenue North in Ajax.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to exercise additional caution for everyone’s safety.
