Road closure on Timber Mill Avenue in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of a road closure on Timber Mill Avenue in the Town of Whitby.

When: Ongoing until October 11 at 5 p.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Timber Mill Avenue, from Brock Street (Highway 12) to Valleywood Drive, Whitby.

Why: To facilitate a storm sewer installation on Brock Street.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Detour signs will be posted. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
