Road closure on Winchester Road in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a full road closure on Winchester Road East in the Town of Whitby.

When: Saturday, June 5 from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Winchester Road East (Regional Road 3), from Anderson Street (Regional Road 36) to Thornton Road (Regional Road 52) in Whitby.

Why: To safely complete paving operations.

Note: Traffic detour signs have been posted. Access will be maintained for Winchester Golf Club and Eldorado Golf Club.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
