Scugog residents: Help shape Durham’s active transportation future
Whitby, Ontario – Want to be a part of shaping the future of active transportation in Durham Region? The Region is seeking a Township of Scugog resident to serve as a volunteer member of the Durham Active Transportation Committee (DATC).
When: Deadline for applications is Friday, February 28.

Why: This is a volunteer position that provides advice on active transportation matters in the Durham Region including urban, rural, utilitarian and recreational transportation programs. As a DATC member, you will play a key role in promoting and expanding active transportation opportunities, ensuring safe and accessible options for all residents.
Note: Volunteers must live in the Township of Scugog.
Interested Scugog residents must submit an application form to the Regional Clerk outlining their interest and qualifications. When selecting members, factors such as the relevance of their interests to the committee's goals, residency within the Region of Durham and availability to attend meetings will be considered.
