Scugog Waste Management Facility will be temporarily closed to the public

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that the Scugog Waste Management Facility (WMF) in the Township of Scugog will be temporarily closed to the public to accommodate the installation of new scales.  

When: August 24 to 28, reopening on August 31.

Where: Scugog WMF (1623 Reach Street, Port Perry)

Why: To accommodate the installation of new scales. Users of the Scugog WMF are encouraged to visit the Oshawa WMF at 1640 Ritson Road North in Oshawa, during the closure.
