Sixth-annual North Durham Building Business Forum to be held in Scugog

Durham Region, in partnership with the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge, is hosting the sixth-annual North Durham Building Business Forum. This annual event, held in rural Durham Region, brings business leaders together to inspire new ideas, make strategic connections, and strengthen the local economy.

Wednesday, October 11 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
WHERE:
Blackstock Recreation Complex, 3440 Church Street, Blackstock.
WHY:
The North Durham Building Business Forum is an opportunity to connect business leaders, help build networks and expand local business initiatives. The event features local business owners from north Durham who will take the stage to share tips about how they have achieved success. This year’s theme is “Making it on Main Street.” Business owners will share their experiences about how they have grown to be successful in their small towns.
As always, the We CARE for Business trade show will be there to help

• Attract new investment to our region.
• Retain our existing business base through funding opportunities, and employment support.
• Expand business initiatives.
The North Durham Building Business Forum is organized by the Economic Development Advisory Committees of the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge. These committees work with township and Regional staff on economic development activities for north Durham.
