Social Services Department to receive Excellence Canada award at Regional Council

Whitby, Ontario – Members of the media are advised that Allan Ebedes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Excellence Canada, will be presenting the Region’s Social Services Department with the Gold certification in the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness Standard during the next Durham Regional Council meeting.

When: Regional Council meeting, Wednesday, December 19 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Photo opportunities will take place during the Presentations portion of the agenda.

Where: The Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby.

Why: The Region of Durham, Social Services Department achieved Gold certification in Excellence Canada’s Excellence, Innovation and Wellness Standard.
