Temporary road closure at Campus Ice Centre on Simcoe Street in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a temporary road closure on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.

When: August 21 at 9 p.m. to August 23 at 9 p.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street, from the Campus Ice Centre to Conlin Road, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: To safely complete the installation of a sanitary force main crossing in a safe and efficient manner.

Note: Traffic will be diverted by a signed detour route. The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
