The Region of Durham’s annual auction moves to an online platform

Whitby, Ontario – Local residents and business owners who are looking for office materials, maintenance supplies, mechanical equipment, and vehicles are invited to use Durham Region’s new, online auction service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, items will be sold as they become available throughout the year and not at a one-time event.

Where: Please visit GovDeals.com for a list of items that the Region of Durham currently has up for auction.

Why: The auction offers the public an opportunity to purchase surplus items that are no longer needed by the Region of Durham. Proceeds from the auction are used by Region of Durham to fund ongoing operations.

Note: Please note that items are sold “as is.” The Regional Municipality of Durham does not inspect items or provide any warranty or guarantee on any of the items sold.
