Upcoming lane closures on Bowmanville Avenue and Regional Road 3 roundabout in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane closures to occur at the Bowmanville Avenue (Regional Road 57) and Regional Road 3 roundabout intersection in the Municipality of Clarington.

When: June 12, 2024, from approximately 6 a.m. to noon. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where:  Lane closures to occur at the Bowmanville Avenue and Regional Road 3 roundabout intersection, in the Municipality of Clarington. Southbound Bowmanville Avenue traffic will be detoured west onto Regional Road 3. Eastbound Regional Road 3 traffic will be detoured onto Enfield Road (Regional Road 34). Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.

Why: To safely complete emergency repair of damaged surface asphalt.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
