Upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in the City of Pickering.

Where: Brock Road from Alexander Knox Road (Whitevale Road/5th Concession Road) to 500 metres north of Ashe Avenue (Pickering GO Bus carpool parking lot) in Pickering.

When: July 29 to December 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Why: To safely install watermains and sanitary sewers, create a new median island and intersection, and complete boulevard work.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
