Upcoming lane restrictions on Church Street South in Ajax and Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Church Street South (Regional Road 24), in Ajax and Pickering.

When: June 24 through August 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where:  Church Street South from Bayly Street to north of Durham Live Avenue. Lane restrictions will occur at all four quadrants of the Church Street South and Durham Live Avenue intersection in Ajax and Pickering.

Why: To facilitate permanent traffic signal improvements and road widening on Church Street South between Durham Live Avenue and Bayly Street.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
