Upcoming lane restrictions on Liverpool Road North in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Liverpool Road (Regional Road 29), in the City of Pickering.

When: June 3 to June 28. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where:  Liverpool Road, from the 401 off ramp (Walnut Lane extension) to 100 metres north of Pickering Parkway, in Pickering. Liverpool southbound lanes will be affected as well as the intersection of Pickering Parkway and Liverpool Road. One southbound lane and two northbound lanes will remain open on Liverpool Road.

Why: To safely complete watermain work to support new development.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of work crews.
