Upcoming lane restrictions on Westney Road and on Salem Road in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in collaboration with the Town of Ajax, is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Westney Road (Regional Road 31) and on Salem Road (Regional Road 41) in the Town of Ajax.

Where: Work will take place at various median islands on Westney Road and on Salem Road north of Highway 401, in Ajax.

When: June 18 to 20. Unfavorable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: To safely perform median maintenance.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
