Upcoming road closure and lane restrictions on Brock Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure and lane restrictions on Brock Road in the City of Pickering.

When and where:

Road closure
The road closure will be from May 6 to 7 on Brock Road, from the entrance of the GO parking lot (south of Highway 407) to Taunton Road, in Pickering. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Lane restrictions
The lane restrictions will be from June 12 to 16 on Brock Road just north of Taunton Road in Pickering. Unfavorable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: The road closure and lane restrictions will be in place for the safe installation of a sanitary sewer.

Note: Local access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
