Upcoming road closure on Conlin Road in Oshawa
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the City of Oshawa, is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions and a road closure on Conlin Road in the City of Oshawa.
When and where: Conlin Road will be closed to through traffic in stages during the 2023 construction season to complete the work. Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Road closures
Stage 1: Conlin Road from east of Thornton Road to west of Stevenson Road North, in the City of Oshawa will be closed to through traffic beginning February 6 until August 1, 2023.
Stage 2: Conlin Road from Garrard Road to Stevenson Road North and the intersection of Thornton Road North and Conlin Road will be closed to through traffic this spring until fall 2023.
Why: To safely install a new feedermain, watermain, sanitary and storm sewer, and to facilitate road reconstruction.
