Upcoming road closure on Kings Hill Lane in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure of Kings Hill Lane in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Bowmanville.

When: October 3 until December 2022. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Kings Hill Lane at Waverly Road in Bowmanville.

Why: This closure is part of the Bowmanville Avenue widening and construction work. Further closures will be required and notice will be provided to residents. Learn more at durham.ca/BowmanvilleAveConstruction.

Note: Local traffic and emergency services will be required to use the signed detour routes.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
