Upcoming road closure on Regional Road 1 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure on Regional Road 1 in the Township of Uxbridge.

Where: Regional Road 1, from north of Sandford Road to 400 metres north of Ashworth Road, in Uxbridge.

When: July 16 to December 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: To safely complete road reconstruction.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
