Upcoming road closure on Rossland Road in Whitby

The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the Town of Whitby, is advising residents of a road closure on Rossland Road in Whitby.

When: August 22 to 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Rossland Road at Brock Street North in the Town of Whitby.

Why: The road closure is needed to complete paving operations through the intersection. Detour signs will be posted. This project is part of the reconstruction of Brock Street North. Brock Street North will remain open to traffic in both directions during the Rossland Road closure. Lane restrictions continue on Brock Street North.
