Upcoming road closure on Wilson Road in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Wilson Road (Regional Road 35) in the City of Oshawa.
When: July 15 to September 13. This ongoing work and associated road closure has been delayed due to unforeseen soil conditions. Unfavourable weather and soil conditions may continue to influence the work schedule.
Where: The road closure will be in place on Wilson Road from Bloor Street to Dieppe Avenue, in the City of Oshawa.
Why: To allow for the relocation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure for a pending Ministry of Transportation of Ontario project. Learn more at hwy401wilsonbloorharmony.ca.
Note: Access will remain open to local traffic only. Sidewalks through this area will be accessible during this closure.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
