Upcoming road closures on Simcoe Street in the Township of Brock

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of road closures on Simcoe Street in the Township of Brock.

When: October 30 to spring 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Road closures will take place in stages on Simcoe Street in Brock, with stage one taking place from east of Madill Street to the west driveway of the Holy Family Catholic School and stage two taking place from Union Street to Madill Street once stage one is completed. The roadways will be open to local traffic for the duration of the work.

Why: To safely complete watermain replacements.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
